PenAgain, Just rec'ed (2) PenAgains ordered from Day-Timer. Have
not been able to write with my right hand for some 10+ years, that
was readable. What a great pen! The new freedom is just great!
On a scale of 10, I have been writing at a 2. PenAgain takes me
to an 8 and with a rollerball or felt-tip on the PanAgain, I would
be back to a 10. (Have confirmed this because I taped a cut up
rollerball pen to the PenAgain as a test.) Give me a PenAgain using
the Mont Blanc Rollerball type cartridge and I will pay the price.
Thanks,
B. Jones
I am a Family Practice doctor and I kind of fell in love with your
pens because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and they are really great
for me. I like them better than my writing brace that I got from
my Occupational Therapist.

Don't know where I've been for the past 2 years. I just discovered
the PenAgain at the UPS store yesterday and snapped one up. I am
a hand surgeon here in SF and work and teach in Occupational Medicine
as well. I deal with a good number of patients with various maladaptive
disorders of the upper extremity. I no longer have to tell these
folks to insert their pens into a jack ball, wrap them with coban,
or use the little rubber wedges. My colleague at Kaiser Occ. Med.
has asked the UPS store folks here at Opera Plaza to order a bunch
so she can have her patients pick one up while they are here. I
had a hard time getting mine back from her once she tried it. Good
job, folks! Best wishes,
Dr. G. Engel
I bought the pens for my father who typical uses a great deal of
pressure when he is writing. The shape of the pen allows him to
feel less fatigue for longer periods of time.
A very satisfied customer
I am really enjoying using my penagain. My students think it is
cool. A suggestion for teachers—offer a variety of refill colors.
Most of us would like to grade in colors other than black. Also,
I'm very interested in the possibility of a pencilagain.
Hello, my name is Jason Wright and I work for a small Hand Therapy
clinic in Daly City. The owner loves your pens and would like
to be able to sell them directly to her patients, instead of
sending
them off to other stores. Please send me an order form. Thank
you for your time,
Jason Wright
I purchased this pen for my teenager with Dysgraphia. He loves
the pen! Although not a cure for his poor handwriting it has helped.
Now if you will just offer a mechanical pencil version so he can
use it in math class! Thank you for a great product.
Due to carpal tunnel in my right hand I lost the ability to hold
a pen. I purchased two PenAgain pens and am pleased to let you
know I am gaining some of my ability back.
I love my new PenAgain pen. I have CMT (a form of muscular dystrophy),
and my hands are extremely weak. This pen allows me to write with
ease.
I just purchased two pens and my hands are already feeling better!
I have carpal tunnel and arthritis, and holding a pen, even the
thicker ones, was arduous. Not anymore, thanks to Penagain. It
is so comfortable to hold, and it writes well too. Thank you!
unique, comfortable, and beautiful in its simplicity
Greetings, I bought an Ergo-Sof pen at the UPS Store in Palm Springs,
California. I am really impressed with the ease of using the pen
and its quality. I work with the South Texas Lighthouse for the
Blind and I am the Manager for the Base Service Stores located
at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, Naval Station Ingleside, and
Kingsville Naval Air Station. We sell office type supplies to the
different squadrons located at each of there bases.

Last evening I gave the PenAgain to my fiancZą. I had ordered it
from a catalog retailer. When I got to my desk, she had written
me a note. It said,"Finally, I can write freely again!" She
had her forearm injured in an accident, and I kept waiting for
love letters which never came. I'll see them now!
Two days after receiving my pen, I left for NY for an Ehlers Danlos
Convention. This is a connective tissue disorder that my son has.
Many people with this disorder have hand pain and hypermobile joints
in the fingers. Along with most all other joints in the body. Writing
is difficult. Well, my pen was passed around so much I thought
I'd never get it back! They loved it! Everyone wanted the web site.
I see from one of my support group message boards (EDNF) that they
have contacted you for some pens to be made with their logo. My
son hasn't been able to attend school in 2 years due to pain. He
will finally give it a try this Sept. His pen will be with him,
for the times he can't use the computer for his work. Thank you
so much.
Cindy Clark/MI
HI! Yes, I was very happy with penagain... i have arthitis in my
right thumb ( no infusion between joints). so this penagain had
helped me to write easier and to lessen the pains in my thumb whenever
i write. I will order some more in the near future! Thank you,
I really like the grip and design! However, I wish the ink were
a gel cartridge instead of ballpoint because I have to apply so
much pressure to use it. Any plan for a non-ballpoint cartridge?
Thank you.
I work as a waiter, guitar instructor, and performing artist in
Astoria, Oregon. After furiously writing orders for hours with
conventional pens, my hand would experience fatigue - thus inhibiting
my dexterity and endurance on the guitar. I purchased a PenAgain
after trying one a friend of mine had received as a gift. I fell
in love with its ergonomic design and sleek appearance. Now, I
don't experience the discomfort and other negative effects associated
with the prolonged use of conventional writing instruments. I've
also recommended it to all of my co-workers, friends and family!
Jason
It's a great pen for someone with arthritis, such as me! But I
was horrified to see a rip-off on the counter of the Mountain View
Office Max under the name Neo Bird or Neb Bird or some such name,
selling for $4.95. But smaller and not nearly so attractive.
Dear Sir/Madam, Yesterday I had a customer come into our store,
Pack and Mail, with one of your pens. He explained to me since
his writing hand is handicapped; he has difficulty writing with
a normal pen. However, with your pen, he has no problem at all.
Our store is located in south west Florida, south of Tampa. We
have a lot of elderly customers who have trouble writing. I believe
your product would be a great idea for our store to carry for our
customers. Sincerely,
Yvonne Leklou, Owner, Pack
and Mail
I read about your product in a S.F. Chronicle with great interest.
My father suffers from diabetes and arthritis and has extreme difficulty
gripping things. It is almost impossible for him to do something
as 'simple' as signing his name. Thank you,
Mary Ann Williams
I like the pen very much- I work at a Medical clinic/Doctor's office,
and many of our patients have asked me about this new pen. I had
so many people ask me about it, that I typed up a "Name address
and phone number" for your company and web address, to give
out to people so that I don't have to write it down every time
someone asks me about it. (Hey-free marketing for you!)... I just
had Carpal Tunnel release surgery and this pen has helped me with
my recovery. Very comfortable.
What is the minimum order for a bulk price?? I've been selling
my pens as soon as I get them, and in fact can't seem to keep them
for more than a few days, without someone giving me a compelling
reason to give or sell them mine.I''ve managed to get two of my
friends to carry your line in Ontario, but in Ontario. They feel
I might be able to market these pens at medical supply houses,
and some of the large office supply places in our area. I was perfectly
happy being semi retired, but it appears, I am missing the boat
by convincing others to carry your pens, without benefiting myself.
Hi There, My son is a 5th grader with a very unusual writing grip.
We are trying to get him to hold a pencil correctly so that his
penmanship will improve. Your "Pen Again" is the only
writing instrument he can hold correctly. I am wondering if you
have considered making these pens in erasable ink (he needs that
next year) or in pencils. Thank you,
Shirleen
Hi--I just bought one of your brilliant pens at Flax in San Francisco.
I selected it originally because it looked so good, then I loved
how it felt! The design is superb, the finish is amazing, the packaging
is excellent and I love that it comes with a PDA stylus, too. I
just wanted to commend you on brilliant design and manufacturing--and
for having a totally unique idea and bringing it to market in such
an affordable way! I design wristwatches myself (see them at www.projects-us.com)
and know how hard it can be to get unique things manufactured well.
I'm going to buy about a dozen more and give them as "this
year's present" to my friends!
" I am an Orthopedic Surgeon in Washington State. I have personally
used the PenAgain pen and have recommended its use with several
patients. The skillful design of the pen allows a more comfortable
thumb position, requiring less acute flexion at the interphalangeal
joint to hold the pen. Many patients with thumb arthritis or
inflammation have found this relieves much of their pain symptoms while writing.
The
pen has an attractive, ergonomic design with a durable ink
cartridge. My office staff has recently been using the pen exclusively.
I would highly recommend this pen to everyone-- patients, friends,
and colleagues."
David N. Schiffman M.D., Orthopedic
Surgeon
" When I showed it to 4 friends of mine, they immediately suggested
its possible use for children, especially for those learning
to write. I tried it briefly last night with my 7-year-old grandson,
AND he liked it. While not very expressive and definitely more
interested in using it, he did say he preferred it over a pencil."
Joan Friesen, Teacher
"
This pen is by far the most comfortable pen I have ever used. It
only took a me a few minutes to get used to it. I grade papers
all night, my hand suffers from holding a pen in the same position
for hours. The PenAgain™ has made my job easier. I think
it actually improves my handwriting, however, don't ask my
wife that."
Don Sargent, High School
Science Teacher
" I purchased the PenAgain for my 85 year old uncle who has Rheumatory
Arthritis. He told me he had trouble holding regular pens
and any pressure he applied holding pens created pain. He tried out the
PenAgain, and, with little effort and practice, he got the
hang of it. He said now he wouldn't have to put off writing monthly
checks."
AH
" The Pens that I bought were wonderful. I bought 2 different styles,
and I gave one as a gift. It was very difficult to choose
which one to depart with. It definitely feels nice when I am writing,
and I love the attention it brings with it. Everyone thinks
it is so cool. I let them know where to find them and explain the
funcitionability of the form. The only down side I can see
about the pen is that I would like the ink to be darker and a little
thicker. Thank you for making such a wonderful pen."
Nicholas Tanabe
" I love the ergonomic shape. The pen floats in my hand."
Tobin Duisenberg, Writer
" I am a psychologist and have done a considerable number of written
evaluations over 20+ years. I was having cosiderable
pain from writing, then I found your pen on the Internet and writing by
hand is no longer a problem. I love your pen."
Dr. Ben
" Amazing product guys! You really hit the mark with this one. The
extension and use of a major muscle-motion to writing
is just what serious writers have been looking for. Thank you for listening
to the market and delivering a product that is long
overdue!"
Augustine Sanchez, Writer
and Orator
Conversation pen
" I have arthritis in my fingers, and the Pen Again has made handwriting
so much more comfortable. It does take a little getting
used to, mainly because I was so used to gripping my writing instrument.
I take it to meetings at my college and it never
fails to get noticed--a true conversation piece."
Relief for Arhtritis in the Hand
" Writing constantly over 30 plus years in the management field and
developing arthritis in my right hand and carpal
tunnel left me almost unable to write until I found this product. What a relief!
Best out there and I have tried ring pens, and every
product
I could find. This is the answer."
A New Sort of Pen
" This little pen takes a bit of getting used to, but once I did
I found it very comfortable to use, actually more
so than a regular one. A clever idea!"
Most comfortable pen in the world!
" I started using the PenAgain a few weeks ago, and let me tell you...it's
the best pen I've ever held! I have moderately severe
psoriatic arthritis, so for years I have suffered when gripping a pen.
No more! With the PenAgain, I can write for hours without my hand
cramping up.
Some of the other reviewers commented
on the retraction clip wearing out and
problems
with
the ink...I've
never had a
problem with the
ink, and the retraction clip has been
redesigned. The pen now has a push-button
mechanism
to retract the
pen, so
that problem
has
been solved.
The most important thing to remember
when using this pen is NOT to try gripping
it
like you
would a normal
pen.
Just rest
your
finger on the shaft of the pen, and let
the weight of your hand put the ink to
paper.
It will work,
I promise,
and
it will be
as if you were writing with your finger!"
Like It
" I'm a lefty who had developed terrible writing habits, mostly out
of neglect and also from poor hand position which
led to cramping. As part of my determination to improve my writing I got this
pen, and I like it a great deal. It is very comfortable to write
with.
The difference is especially noticeable when I pick
up a pen after using the penagain for several months. It really is a dramatic
difference."
Wonderful
"
I've actually been really happy with my PenAgain. I've had a long
history of repetitive strain/tendinitis from keyboard overuse/misuse & excessive
gripping of writing implements, causing hand cramps,
and this just seems to remove all that excess tension.
I also
love the
stylus,
and it makes using my Palm a breeze. My only complaint
is that I'd like one that can switch between stylus
and pen,
but I'm
just going to get a second one to use solely as a
stylus."
Great Little Pen, Fun too!
"
This pen is so very comfortable to use! First attracted by the
bright color, I was quickly drawn in by a whole lot more. This
is now my pen of choice. I would rather write with it than any
other writing utensil I know of, because it actually relaxes my
hand as I write. It is light-weight. Softly fits onto the pads
of my fingers, and conforms easily around my index finger. I enjoy
the "soft" feel of it as I write. Retracting
the pen tip is easy, and though a bit stiff to use,
the pocket
clip is
handy. I'll be trying the highlighter next. Thanks
so much Roche and Ronsse, Keep up the great work!"
Writing Again
" I have nerve damage in my primary hand, and was unable to write
with it at all until I got this pen. The positioning
allows me to work around the damabe to my thumb. I never thought I would
write with my primary hand again, but I can with
this pen."
Love This Pen
" I am a nurse in a very busy ED and have had multipul hand surgeries
it is painful to say the least to write at times
this pen has given me back the ease of writing all over again.
Thank you so much.
Just one draw back do not I repeat do not let anyone play
with the pen again the device breaks
easily when put in the write mode it retracts very easily
after it is
broken."
The PenAgain - good for your wrist, great for impressions
"
When I first saw the Pen Again, I thought to myself "why would
I switch from the stick pens & pencils I've used all my life?" Then
I tried it and realized that it introduces a whole
new approach to writing. I now use the PenAgain with
my left hand as well
-- whoever created this should invent a highlighter
as well for college
students who want to highlight with one hand and
write with the other."
Colin and Bobby I want to
kiss you both for making
my son's
writing easier. Writing
has
always been
a problem
for him
due to his
tight grip on a pencil causing
him
pain and fatigue. Pencil
Grips were of no help either.
Nothing
worked
until he picked up your pen.
Now he can write
for
longer periods
of time
with no
fatigue
after only two days of using
your pen! This pen (and pencil
when
it arrives) should be marketed
to Occupational
Therapists for their patients.
(My boss saw you in AARP
magazine) After
I ordered my pens, the next
call I
made was to
my son's
former Occupational
Therapist. The OT at school
already knew of the pen.
Good Going!

I have unfortunately had
four hand surgeries due to
CTS.
Your pen
is a true revolation
in the writing
experience!
I feel
no fatigue
or compromise in my writing
ability with your pen! I
wil recommend your pen to
anyone! Hopefully to others
who can
prevent the
injuries I have incurred.
I have been able to chart
without
pain
or swelling
since finding this product!
God bless you
for you inovation an product!
You have my continued
alliance
in regards
to your product!
Good Morning, Last week I
had carpal tunnel surgery.
The
doctor said
I needed to write
with the writing
instrument between
my index and middle finger,
resting on top of the hand.
My husband
stopped
into Walgreens and happened
to see your PenAgain and
picked it up. It makes writing
so
much
easier and it doesn’t put any
pressure on the incisions while writing. I love it! But being an
educator, I’m constantly writing with the students. Seventh
graders use pencil, especially for math. Do you have a product
line of mechanical pencils? Also, I’ve worked
with handicapped children that have a hard time putting
enough
pressure on the
pencil to write. We usually use a weight strap attached
to the top of
their hand in order to get enough pressure. Using
a PenAgain pencil would alleviate the need for a
weight strap.
I look forward to your response
concerning a PenAgain mechanical
pencil.
Thank you, S. Pollick
Dear Sirs, I am a special
education teacher at an elementary
school.
I am very excited
about
your pens
and can hardly
wait for your
pencils to come out. I have
at least 6 students who would
benefit
greatly
from
them. When
are they available?
At
what stores?
Your products are a godsend
for special ed students!
Thank you,

Part 1: Please let me know
if there is anyway to get
or test
the children’s size of the pencil or pen. I have a 7 year old
with Down syndrome and Autism who has a difficult time holding
any “normal” writing utensil. I stumbled
upon your product at Walgreens and think that this
could be THE
product
for him. I have purchased several for home and use
at school, and he
has had some great initial success. Unfortunately,
he still requires hand over hand assistance ad his
hands are still
to small to
hold the pen properly and apply the correct amount
of pressure to write.
I really think this is a
great product and think that
a children’s
line would be fantastic, especially for the Special
Needs community.
M. Davenport, Hanover Park,
IL
Part 2: I am really excited
to see how the smaller size
works
for our
son. He
wrote
his first legible
independent
letter
today using
the penagain. The teacher
emailed me right away as
writing/coloring
is something
he
has always
struggled
with and has become
more of a frustration for
him as he gets older. I would
love
to
talk to
someone in your marketing
department about ways to
tap into the
Special Needs market.
My son’s
Occupational Therapist really likes it as well. Best Regards,
M. Davenport
Hi! I recently purchased
one of your pens for my mom
who
has arthritis
in her hands,
she
LOVES it.
As
a mortgage broker I sit and watch
my clients sign loan papers
at closings,
sometimes 150 times between
signatures and initials and
that gave me
an idea.
I
would love
to be able to offer one of
your
pens as a gift to my customers
for the closing process,
but there’s a problem.
Banking laws require that mortgage papers be signed
in blue rather
than black
ink. So I have 2 questions, 1) is it possible to
order your pens with Blue ink, and 2) is it possible
to have the pens
personalized?
It would be a FANTASTIC item for us.

Hello, I came across your
pen last week and think
it is fabulous.
I am an Occupational
Therapy
Assistant (COTA) and
work in a school setting. I
purchased one
for a child
with JRA. She likes
it,
but may not use it in
school because work must be able
to be erased.
I was going to adapt
my own version to create a pencil
style for
her, but I
see that one
may be
introduced
soon by your
company.
It is great to see that
you sell them through
common stores.
L. Gordon
Hello, I would really
like to buy some
of your pens
for my
pastor
whose hands
are crippled
with arthritis
and
neuropathy. He is
a prolific letter
writer but has trouble gripping
a pen for
any amount
of time. Is there
anywhere in Albuquerque, New
Mexico that
carries them? Many
thanks.
Melissa
When will the child's
pencil be available?
I work with
students who
have dysgraphia and
I think that
your
product would
be wonderful for them.
I am very
anxious
to get some
to try out.

Just wanted
to let
you know
that I
work in a
pediatric
practice and many
of our
patients
parents
see me
with this
unusually shaped pen.
I get a
lot of
remarks
and many try
it out. Congratulations
on such
a wonderful
design.
I had carpal

surgery 4 years ago
and
this
pen has
been a tremendous
help!

It's

usefull
product.
Thanks.
Nevertheless
for

it
is
a
little too
long.
would
you
please

whe
you
get

Hi
- You
have another
very happy
PenAgain customer.
I've just
found your
pen thanks
to an
occupational therapist
in my
area.
I
do a
fair amount
of editing.
Do you
have any
plans to
do red
ink cartidges,
blue ink
cartridges or
roller ball
cartridges (in
colors)? I'm
sure you'd
have some
even happier
customers. Thanks
for your
assistance.
Best
